From a few bold ideas to a movement that has touched countless lives, the Dominican Youth Movement has been spreading faith, forming young leaders, and building community for more than 25 years. And now, we have something BIG to celebrate!
Ten years ago, DYMUSA officially became a nonprofit organization. Since then, the movement has grown, taken root in communities across the country, and continued to ignite young hearts with faith, purpose, and Dominican spirit.
This Gala is More Than a Celebration. It’s a Look at the Journey.
Come take a walk down memory lane as we revisit where it all began, where we’ve been, and the lives we’ve impacted along the way.
We’ll celebrate the congregations and communities that have supported DYMUSA throughout the years with special videos, interviews, stories, and surprises that bring our history to life.
And, of course, we’ll honor this year’s Sr. Pat Brady Award recipient, Sr. Katherine Frazier, OP, for her years of service and commitment to the Dominican Youth Movement.

Pull out your best black and white look, bring your style, and come ready to celebrate. You might even find yourself featured as one of our “Best Dressed” attendees!
