"Attending the Preaching Conference at Aquinas College in Michigan was an incredible experience for me. Not only was the campus beautiful and surrounded by nature, but the commitment of the college to protect the environment was truly inspiring.
However, the most significant part of the conference was the spiritual growth and new friendships that I gained. Being surrounded by people who were passionate about their faith and the Dominican tradition was an enriching experience that allowed me to deepen my own spirituality. Through the various workshops, keynote speakers, and prayer services, I was able to learn more about the Dominican charism and how it can be applied to my daily life.
But beyond the educational aspect, the conference provided a space for me to connect with other Dominican students from different colleges and universities. I was able to make new friendships with people who shared similar values and beliefs, and who were also seeking to grow in their faith. These connections have continued beyond the conference, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have met such wonderful people.
Overall, the Preaching Conference at Aquinas College was a transformative experience that allowed me to grow spiritually and form meaningful connections with others. I am grateful for the memories and friendships that I made and look forward to attending future conferences with the Dominican Youth Movement."
