Dominican High Schools Preaching Conference
June 28, through July 1, 2026 at the Weber Center, Adrian, Michigan
DYMUSA continued its tradition of empowering high school students to discover and deepen the preacher within themselves through prayer, study, community and interaction with members of the Dominican Family.

Action Plans by School
"We, the preachers"
Dominican High School
We, the preachers of Dominican High School, will preach with our lives by:
Plan for social justice informational meetings to happen during lunch or late start throughout the year, where we plan donation drives.
Add chalk the walk and or paper mural as a prayer activity during freshmen retreat.
Decide on a time and place to put up an extended prayer station for student intentions.
Edgewood High School
We, the preachers of Edgewood High School, will preach with our lives by:
Increasing our meetings at the Upper Room and encouraging more people to participate.
Making updates to our Marian Shrine and Laberinth, and increase opportunities for people to enjoy them.
Creating a prayer intention wall that our preaching team will pray over daily.
Flintridge Sacred Heart
We, the preachers of Flintridge Sacred Heart, will preach with our lives by:
Presenting about this conference at our school wide assembly- called Pillars.
Offering prayer services that go beyond our monthly liturgies.
Making stronger connections to our Dominican Pillars during retreats.
Marian Catholic High School
We, the preachers of Marian Catholic High School, will preach with our lives by:
Defining, providing, and exemplifying the ways of the Dominican ways of prayer. For example, labyrinth and prayer stations.
Implementing different ways of creative expression through art at our class retreats.
Teaching others how to do Lectio Devinas alongwith other reflections that go alongside it.
ICA Cristo Rey
We, the preachers of ICA Cristo Rey, will preach with our lives by:
Bringing back a school wide day of service, introducing it year by year.
Reformking the choir club and bringing back the Dominican hymns we have learned about at this conference.
Engaging more students in participation in campus ministry through liturgies and student outreach.
Rosary College Prep
We, the preachers of Rosary College Prep, will preach with our lives by:
Creating an interactive campus ministry board to stimulate involvement with all the students in order to inspire them to grow in their faith.
Plan an interactive event for all high school girls and their families during women's history month to be hosted at Rosary College Prep by the Dominican Preachers. The event will promote personal safety, self confidence, and women's dignity.
Fostering a sisterhood among the student body by establishing an annual movie night to highlight individuality, creativity, and communal trust for the sake of coming together to express God's light.
Regina Dominican High School
We, the preachers of Regina Dominican High School, will preach with our lives by:
Planning monthly prayer services using the prayer/liturgy templagtes we received here.
Using art as a form of praye and contemplating God by incorporating an artistic activity into each class year retreat.
Restarting a penpal (or zoompal) connectgion with our founding order, pairing each Advisory at Regina with an Adrian sister with whom they can regularly correspond.
Sacred Heart High School
We, the preachers of Sacred Heart High School, will preach with our lives by:
Once a month Wednesday morning prayer activties
Organizing collaborations with other clubs/groups
Incoporating more detailed activities such as, chalk gratitude, breath prayers, and rock meditation.
San Gabriel Mission High School
We, the preachers of San Gabriel Mission High School, will preach with our lives by:
Promoting Faith Through the Arts: We want to help students use their talents to grow closer to God and share their faith through art. Whether it is acting, drawing, poetry, or theater, these creative activities can help students express themselves and inspire others in our school community.
Raising Awareness Through Faith: We hope to bring more attention to social justice issues by connecting them to our Catholic faith. Through prayer services, school newsletters, and discussions, we can learn how to better support others.
Creating a Welcoming Community: We want to help make our school a place where everyone feels welcomed and included. By encouraging fellowship, prayer, and stronger connections between students, we can build a more positive and faith filled community together.
